How professional whitening works
The whitening gel is applied using a mouth guard custom-fitted to your teeth, so it stays where it should and away from your gums. Because the trays are made for you, the result is even and comfortable.

Is whitening safe for my teeth and gums?
Research shows that whitening with carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide is safe for teeth and gums when a dentist supervises it.
Will whitening work on every stain?
Many stains lighten well. Some, such as tetracycline staining or discoloration from an injury, respond less, and bonding or veneers may be the better choice. Dr. Da Cunha will tell you what to expect before you start.
